O-ring F (ISO general industrial)
P (dynamic)JIS B 2401-1 / -2This series can be used for both dynamic and static seals. It has the most sizes and is the one generally used. The housing dimensions are on the same page.G (static)JIS B 2401-1 / -2This series is for static seals only. Do not use it for dynamic seals. The housing dimensions are on the same page.V (for vacuum flanges)ISO 3601-1 (JIS B 2401-1)This series is for vacuum flanges. The cross-sections are large at 4, 6 and 10 mm, and some are large in diameter.F (ISO general industrial)JIS B 2401-2 Annex JAThe ISO 3601-2 size series. Its designation numbers follow a different system from P, G and V, and only the basic dimensions for each cross-section are given.
Basic housing dimensions (by cross-section)
Groove sections matched to the ISO 3601-2 size series. They depend only on the O-ring cross-section.

- The metric table lists the sizes whose mating diameters come out at round numbers. The designations are a subset of the cylindrical-face table, and t is an extra reference value (close to the groove depth). Rows marked as recommending a custom inside diameter are those where a custom O-ring gives the best seal.
- For d for pistons3 the tolerance class changes from row to row (h6 / h8 / h9), becoming looser as the designation grows.
- The designation system differs from the P, G and V series, which are specific to JIS. Do not mix them.
