Coarse thread

Coarse threadISO 4762 (JIS B 1176)The ordinary thread, with one pitch fixed for each nominal diameter. Use it unless something else is specified.Fine threadISO 4762 (JIS B 1176)A thread with a finer pitch than the coarse series at the same nominal diameter. Choose it for fastening thin parts, or where you need resistance to loosening or fine control of the axial force.
