  • For anchor bolts with a shank diameter over 40 mm, use the smaller values: 215 instead of 235 for ABR400 / ABM400, and 295 instead of 325 for ABR490 / ABM490.
  • The allowable force is calculated on the shank area for high-strength bolts, and on the effective thread area for bolts and anchor bolts. Using the area derived from the nominal thread diameter overestimates it.
  • F11T does not appear in Table 5.2 of the standard, which lists only F8T and F10T; the F11T values come from the earlier standard. F11T is no longer used in new construction because of delayed fracture, but the row is kept for checking existing buildings.
