Unplasticized PVC pipe
VPA PVC pipe of ordinary wall thickness. It is used for pressurised lines such as water supply, and is the place to start when you are unsure.HIVPA pipe with the same outside diameter and wall thickness as VP but with better impact resistance. It is used in cold regions and where the line is exposed to knocks.VUA thinner-walled pipe than VP. It is used for unpressurised lines such as drainage and venting, and it covers a wide range of designations, 40 to 600.VMA standard that covers only the large designations 350 to 500. The wall is thicker than VU at the same designation, so choose it where a large bore needs the extra thickness.
